Ian Hart Funeral Service Ltd has been operating for some twenty years under its current name, but Ian is from one of the oldest funeral directing families in the area. His great-grandfather founded the parent company at the beginning of the last century, before being succeeded by Ian's grandfather in 1927.
Ian himself has over 30 years' experience in the funeral profession in Worthing and the surrounding districts. He was awarded his Diploma in Funeral Directing by the National Association of Funeral Directors in 1989 and is proud to be currently one of the few fully qualified and licensed funeral directors in the county. He has been an active member of the Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors and was privileged to serve as their President from 1997 to 2000.
Our premises are situated at 92-94 Broadwater Street West, Worthing, and provide an informal environment for clients to discuss and finalise any funeral or memorial arrangements. If you would prefer these discussions to take place in the privacy of your own home, we would be pleased to accommodate your wishes and visit you there.

The 350-ton barque Lalla Rookh was built in Jersey by Edward Allen in 1839, constructed on the beach at Havre des Pas, just east of the town of St Helier.
